Aaron has developed a broad spectrum of commercial experience dealing with the negotiation of contracts on behalf of both local and international clients. His past involvement has included the drafting of purchase and management agreements for a newly formed hotel group, including due diligence reporting and intense negotiations between buyers and purchasers.
He has assisted in the applications of double taxation treaties, withholding tax and Thin Capitalisation Rules for international clients; and works closely with Ross Koffel in support of our international client base as to purchase, protections of trade mark and intellectual property.
Having qualified with SA 8000 Standards in Corporate Social Responsibility Aaron has a strong interest and commitment to CSR issues as they relate to both private and public entities. His qualifications make him especially suited to carry out Due Diligence Audit requirements. He is also SAI Global /Quality Management Systems qualified.
Having had a strong interest and experience in equestrian sports he acts in matters involving horse sale/ purchase, agistment and debt disputes, injury, ownership and contractual agreements.
Aaron completed his training as an Officer Graduate of Royal Military College of Canberra. He embraces a wide variety of sporting interests apart from equestrian including rugby and martial arts. He is an active participant in our global network, Lawyers Associated Worldwide and has been a frequent representative of the firm.
Aaron writes a regular legal column for "Hoof Beats" magazine, answering reader's questions in relation to Equestrian Law.
