    Admitted in both Malaysia and Australia with a combined degree in Accounting, May Kong has focused her practice in corporate and project finance areas including notes issuance, restructuring, IPOs and asset acquisition/finance.

    She has acted for financiers including project financing by a state-owned corporation in the oil and gas sector as well as for Australian listed companies. She has also acted for sporting bodies and not for profit organisations.

    In carrying out due diligence requirements she has prepared reports for distribution to financiers, issuers, independent experts, auditors and company secretaries. These projects have also included drafting of contract and review, conducting verification meetings and drafting of Information Memoranda.

    She is experienced in drafting a variety of contracts including Constitutions, Shareholder Agreements, loan documentation, Asset Sale agreements and Contracts for the sale of business.

    May has also been involved in large litigation matters for the firm, including Commercial Disputes, Personal Injury, Building & Construction and large Strata Defect claims in the Supreme Court.

    She efficiently and meticulously manages preparation of large documentation for commercial transactions as well as complex litigation under tight deadlines.
